4 ways to scrunch your hair without damaging it

I love the untidy and messed up look on me. For starters, it increases the volume of my hair and secondly it adds the much needed zest to an otherwise boring plain hair. Here’s how you can do it at home all by yourself:

1) The slow dry: Just after my hair wash, I leave my hair untouched. When the hair dries upto 70%, then I just run my fingers through my hair and squeeze the ends of it by twisting and turning it. This is a natural method which causes no harm to hair.

2) The blow dry: I recommend it only after a head shower. Just when your hair is on the verge of drying blow dry it inwardly so it becomes like a puff all around. It will set itself on drying up completely.

3) The cut: One of the easiest ways to get that scrunched look is to go for a combination of two or three different layered cuts. For example, I ask my hairdresser to give my side fringes in front, give me bounce on the crown and incorporate curly layers at the end of the length of hair. Phew! Saves time and effort everyday.

4) The comb trick: So combing towards the roots from the end tip of your hair also gives the perfect messy look. Please be careful here as the comb easily can get entangled in hair. Rolling combs are the best to use for this and initially to develop some practice don’t go all the way to roots but stop midway so you can still unroll it easily.
